Michael Angelo

Sometimes, people spell "Michelangelo" as "Michael Angelo." I think it's funny, but also kind of sad.

Some people only know of the Ninja Turtle version of Michelangelo, which is also funny, but sad.

When I think of Michelangelo, I imagine three entities:

First, there's Michelangelo Buonarotti, the artist from the High Renaissance. Hopefully you are familiar with him and his work. If you aren't, that makes me sad.

Then there's Michelangelo, the Ninja Turtle.

Finally, there's Michael Angelo, Michelangelo Buonarotti's alter ego. He was created by the people who spell "Michelangelo" incorrectly.

Michael Angelo is mean.

Michael Angelo isn't only mean to little kids, though. He's mean to everyone.

Including old grandmas.

Sometimes, Michael Angelo doesn't make any sense. That is quite obviously a walking stick. And "David" is quite obviously one of the greatest works of art ever. But that doesn't keep Michael Angelo from being mean. (That is the most precious cartoon granny I have ever, ever drawn.)

Michael Angelo is even mean to me sometimes.

But it's not difficult to shut him up.

YOU THINK THIS POST IS OVER?
It quite obviously is.
